From the delightful song during the end credits, to the simple, yet absolutely addictive gameplay, Portal was a true gem. Portal was followed by Portal: Still Alive on Xbox Live Arcade, which contained the full original game, 14 new challenges, and new achievements. Portal 2 was announced earlier this year for release in 2010 (delayed to 2011), and E3 has brought us news and videos.
From what we’ve seen and heard so far, Portal 2 will deliver a steep increase in difficulty in single-player mode, and even moreso in the newly introduced co-operative mode. New environment items are introduced, as well as new ways to use the portals.
