Mad Catz’s ProGaming Headset for COD: Black Ops

Mad Catz’s ProGaming Headset for COD: Black Ops

Mad Catz has announced they will be releasing three different limited edition Call of Duty: Black Ops ProGaming headsets, based on Tritton audio technology. Check them out!

The first of three is the limited edition Dolby Digital True 5.1 ProGaming Headset for Xbox 360 and PlayStation 3. This headset comes complete with fully braided cables and gold plated connectors. The headset is dedicated to providing the highest quality of audio, via the four drivers in each ear, located in the front, rear and center with a sub driver, as well. The headset will also feature a detachable boom microphone, as well as a backlit audio controller with ‘break-away’ safety feature. My personal favorite feature, is the added ability to adjust the front, rear, center and sub drivers to your preference. The headset also comes with other unexpected perks such as the choice between leather or cloth ear pads and a padded limited edition Call of Duty: Black Ops travel case to keep your goodies safe. You can catch it all for a whopping $249.99 exclusively available at Best Buy in North America.

If the Dolby Digital True 5.1 ProGaming headset’s price is a little out of your budget, perhaps you’d be interested in the Dolby 5.1 ProGaming Headset. This headset still has all the same artwork, detachable boom, travel case, and audio controller, however its surround sound capabilities are slightly decreased. This headset uses the included Dolby Digital set top encoder box as well as precision balanced 2-channel 40mm headset drivers to deliver a fantastic audio experience. The Dolby Digital 5.1 ProGaming headset is set at a fairly reasonable price of $199.99, and available exclusively at GameStop in North America.

If you’re a PC gamer, and not a console gamer – Mad Catz has a headset for you, too! When used with the gamer’s pre-existing 5.1 audio cards, the Dolby Digital True 5.1 ProGaming headset connects to the PC’s audio outputs and provides authentic sound reproduction. All other features are the same as the Xbox 360 and PlayStation 3 versions with the detachable boom, travel case, artwork and audio controller. You can grab the PC version of this headset for a low cost of $149.99.

On the outside, you might think Sam is rough and tough with her always-changing hair color and tattoos, but those closest to her will tell you she's actually a book worm, plant mom, avid backcountry hiker, and lover of all things Star Wars and video games!
