You see what I did with that 4 in the title? Yeah Valve, I can be clever with words that sound like numbers too.
So you know what’s better than video games about zombies? More video games about zombies. That’s why I’m excited to announce the release date for Left 4 Dead’s The Sacrifice, a new bit of DLC that serves as a prequel to previous DLC The Passing. On October 5th you get to find out what led the survivors from the original Left 4 Dead to meet up with the survivors from Left 4 Dead 2.
Now you can download this in each of the Left 4 Dead games. If you snag it for the original game you just get The Sacrifice and all of its Campaign, Versus and Survival modes. However, if you download the DLC for the sequel you get The Sacrifice and the original Left 4 Dead DLC No Mercy. In addition, if you go the Left 4 Dead 2 route you get special Left 4 Dead 2 weapons and enemies. Each version offers five new achievements for those that hunt such things.
The Sacrifice will be available for 560 Microsoft Points on Xbox Live and will be free for PC users. You know what else is free? The bitchin’ poster for The Sacrifice. Its right below too!
