Black Friday Brought Nintendo Green

Nintendo’s been behind in the news for a while now but everything changed on the week of Black Friday! It’s bragging time!Nintendo’s sales went through the roof during this year’s Black Friday when shoppers purchased over 1 million Nintendo consoles. This year Nintendo had released several new colors and bundles for their DS and Wii consoles in the weeks leading up to Black Friday.

The new consoles consisted of a red Nintendo Wii which was packaged with a special copy of New Super Mario Bros Wii, a red Nintendo DSi which was packaged with Mario Kart DS, and a new orange and green DSi which were packaged with Mario Party DS. For any parents looking for a Nintendo system to get for your little tyke, the Nintendo Wii is priced at $199.99 and the Nintendo DSi is $149.99. If it were up to me, I’d go with the DSi.

Now, you can’t go wrong with a console, but what’s a console without some software? The Wii has all kinds of great new titles that are out now and coming soon like Super Mario Galaxy 2, Metroid: Other M, Wii Party, Kirby’s Epic Yarn, PokePark Wii: Pikachu’s Adventure, FlingSmash (which comes with an extra controller), and Donkey Kong Country Returns.

If you were thinking of a DS, there are great games for it as well! Some of the better titles include; Dragon Quest IX: Sentinels of the Starry Skies, Professor Layton and the Unwound Future, Pokemon Ranger: Guardian Signs, Art Academy, Mario Vs. Donkey Kong: Mini-Land Mayhem, and Golden Sun: Dark Dawn.

Nintendo is really stepping it up this holiday season and is offering some of their better titles that are sure to please anyone when they unwrap them!
