Holiday Gift Guide: Tech & Gadgets

The box set of your favorite show is good. Your favorite video game is even better. But, the gift that puts the icing on that cake is a really cool gadget that all your friends want, but only you have. In case you’re not sure what that really cool gadget is, well, once again, we’re here to help!

The first piece of technology is the NVIDIA Optimus and NVIDIA 3D Vision 3D notebooks from vendors such as Dell, Acer, Samsung and Toshiba to name a few. These new notebooks will allow you to view 3D movies, games, photos and videos in addition to 3D web streaming content.

To go along with the notebooks, NVIDIA has announced the release of their new product, 3DTV Play, a new software that allows users to connect their 3D enabled notebooks to any of the new 3D TVs, including both Samsung and Sony’s 3D TVs.

The next item I find super cool is from ThinkGeek.com. A spycam, carefully hidden in the image of a man holding a camera. Using the included cable (which conveniently fits in your pocket), the wearer can take snapshots of anything he or she sees, and store up to 150 high resolution digital pictures. Availble on ThinkGeek.com for the low price of $39.99.

If you’re like me, and you have your iPhone, GPS and satellite radio all in your car, you’ve probably also realised you can’t have them all plugged in at once. Well, now you can! The last item, a Coffee Cup Power Inverter allows you to do just that. It plugs into your car’s cigarette light, and provides you with two electrical outlets in addition to a USB port. And the best part? It fits into any standard cup holder!

On the outside, you might think Sam is rough and tough with her always-changing hair color and tattoos, but those closest to her will tell you she's actually a book worm, plant mom, avid backcountry hiker, and lover of all things Star Wars and video games!
