The Jump Off

The Jump Off

A while back, I reviewed a great local band called Last Bullet. Well, that caught the attention of a local artist’s manager who is putting together another local show, and when I heard about it – I just had to spread the word!

The Jump Off is a 19+ event inspired “by the idea of jumping off  the careers of a variety of different talented, up and coming artists and performers”, according to event coordinator, Adrian Pizzoferrato.

The Jump Off will feature four performances. The main performers are Tuzzy, a singer, songwriter and producer and The Violinist, a unique urban style violinist. The Jump Off will also include Toronto based rock band, Last Bullet, and Twisted Ankles, a finalist in Much Music’s 2009 dance off.

The Jump Off will be held at Toronto’s legendary Opera House on December 10. Doors will open around 9pm, with the show beginning at 9:30pm. Entrance is $20, which will include the performances, prizes, and even a catered meal by Pizza Pizza!

Alongside Pizza Pizza, Molson has decided to sponsor the event, in addition to Steamwhistle Brewery who have donated a VIP tour for 10 people at their brewery! The Jump Off is also working with a non-profit organisation called Canada Fights Human Trafficking to raise awareness to the issue of human trafficking in Canada.

Be sure to check back in a few weeks for more information about The Jump Off, then catch a review of the show mid-December – or  contact Adrian Pizzoferrato at 647-893-8790 or AdrianPizzoferrato@hotmail.com  for tickets to see it first-hand!

On the outside, you might think Sam is rough and tough with her always-changing hair color and tattoos, but those closest to her will tell you she's actually a book worm, plant mom, avid backcountry hiker, and lover of all things Star Wars and video games!
