I’m sure this game is a little thor after having half its price smashed. Oh I’m so witty.
Frima Studio’s little game about a little thunder god is getting a 50% price reduction just in time for the holidays. The PlayStation Mini title Young Thor is going to be priced at $2.49 from November 23 through November 30.
“We know it’s a bit early for gift-giving what with Thanksgiving still up ahead, but we wanted to get a head-start on spreading the holiday cheer around, and what better way than to give Young Thor away for half price?” said Steve Couture, CEO of Frima Studio. “We are very proud of the work we put into Young Thor, and we hope that at this reduced price point, more people will get a chance to become the mighty god of thunder and experience one of the best minis they’ll ever play!”
Young Thor, playable on the PS3 and PSP, follows the journeys of… well, a young Thor. You go through Midgard and Asgard, utilizing 15 different attacks and magical powers to smash Hel and her buddies Ratatoskr and Nidhogg to rescue the three Norns and save the world tree Yggdrasil. By the way, did I mention I love Norse mythology names? How often do you get to put two g’s next to each other?
