Dead Space Gets Reanimated

Dead Space Gets Reanimated

The cartoon prequel to Dead Space II, Dead Space: Aftermath, will be released in January to coincide with the release of the game.

Earth has lost contact with the USG Ishimura, the ship from the first game that got all sorts of infested with Necromorphs. They have also lost contact with the USG O’Bannon, the ship that went to help the Ishimura. This is what most would call not a good sign. An even worse sign is that only four crew members of the O’Bannon are found alive.

Producer Joe Goyette and supervising director Mike Disa return from the first Dead Space animated movie. Aftermath is produced by Film Roman (“The Simpsons,” “King of the Hill”), and stars Christopher Judge (“Stargate: SG-1”), Peter Woodward (“Babylon 5,” “Charmed”), Graham McTavish (upcoming theatrical release of The Hobbit), Ricardo Chavira (“Desperate Housewives”) and Gwendoline Yeo (“Star Wars: The Clone Wars”).

Dead Space: Aftermath will be available on January 25, the same day Dead Space II will be released. It will be out for Blu-Ray for $34.99 and DVD for $26.98. There will be a pre-book coming out on December 29. And remember, Dead Space II will be available for PS3, Xbox 360 and PC.
