The Force is With Apple

Like every other Mac user, you get tired of hearing all of your Windows using friends talk about their newest online game that you can’t play. Yesterday Sony Online Entertainment, LucasArts and TransGaming released Star Wars: Clone Wars Adventures on Mac. Suck on that Windows junkies!

Everyone in the world has been talking about Star Wars: Clone Wars Adventures, The World of Meh that is. Lindsey, Sammi and Kyle have all gotten to take a look at the game with some pretty favorable responses. Since it now works wonderfully on Mac, I’ve finally been able to give it test.

John Smedly, the president of Sony Online Entertainment had this to say about the new release: “The demand for game content on the Mac platform has increased significantly, and we are excited to bring our games to this growing audience. Through our collaboration with TransGaming, Mac and PC players are able to play together seamlessly on both Free Realms™ and now Clone Wars Adventures, and we will continue to look for opportunities with future games to do the same.”

The game lets players walk through the Jedi Temple while completing training, fighting in wars, and Jedi Mastering some fun games. Star Wars: Clone War Adventures is like any typical MMO, you can chat with the other players around you and play games together. There are stores for buying your Jedi Knight some sweet clothes and accessories.

Exclusively for this week, gamers are treated to a Christmas-like holiday called Life Day. There are exclusive items that can be bought from the store and the world is generously decorated with Life Day Orbs (which look like giant christmas lights) and a Gifting Tree that you can collect presents from.

Become the best Jedi Knight you can be and join Star Wars: Clone Wars Adventures!
