Calling All Assassini! Enter and Win!

Calling All Assassini! Enter and Win!

Random.org has spoken! Huge congrats to our 4 winners: Mark Litzinger, Volcombrandon, Wchillinman, and James Chodes! Please email contests@maroonersrock.com your shipping addresses so we can get these awesome prints off to you all!

Happy Friday, Assassins! If you happen to follow us on Twitter, you would’ve seen our tweets telling you all about this contest. If you aren’t following us on Twitter, shame on you, and get on that shit – @Marooners_Rock. So, today is the day and I gotta say this is a pretty sweet contest. Check out the goodies below!

For those of you who were unable to attend E3, specifically the Ubisoft press conference, you guys missed out on what was, in my opinion, the best swag you could’ve gotten: a smaller version of a limited edition Ezio print by artist Craig Mullins.

Now, the only other way to get this print is by purchasing the larger one off of the Ubi Workshop website in which only 60 were made and retail for $80.00 USD. If spending close to $100.00 for a sweet Ezio print isn’t your thing, give our contest a shot and you can win one for free!

Thanks to some friends who attended the Ubisoft conference with us, yet didn’t want to take the print for themselves, we have 4 of these to give away. How might one win? It’s easy!

  • Leave a comment below answering this question:

How will you want Ezio’s story in Revelations to end? Would you want him to have a warriors death, fighting the Templars to the bitter end? Have him naturally die of old age? Or would you want something in between?

  • Contest is open only to continental United States residents due to shipping costs. The actual print is backed with cardboard so it will already be awkward and pricey to ship. Sorry to everybody else, but we hope you understand.
  • The contest is open from now until Sunday, June 26th at 11:59 PM PST.
  • Winners will be chosen using Random.org and announced on Monday, June 27th at 1 PM PST in this post that will be updated at the very top.

So, enter below and spread the word to your friends!

Vittoria Agli Assassini!

I HOPE HE DIES AND WE FIND OUT IT WAS ALL JUST A DRUG-INDUCED DREAM. [trollface.jpg]

  • Ezio finds the temple locations, allowing his future counterpart to reach them. Ezio himself dies as he attempts to enter one of the temples, but lives long enough to give Desmond the knowledge to succeed. The temples are revealed to be safe havens from the coming destruction, devoid of anything to spare the rest of the Earth. As the destruction passes, we glimpse a world where the few survivors spend their time on Animus machines, living happier lives.

  • I don’t want Ezio’s story to end! 🙂 But if it must, I think Ezio should die while fighting off a huge squad of Templars. I haven’t played enough of Brotherhood to say much more yet, but I just hope Revelations is epic 🙂

Answer: I would honestly want him to fight like a badass till the VERY end like you guys mentioned and also die of old age.. because if he doesn’t die then its sorta like fake.. Plus that way if they ever made anymore games they could come out with a brand new character and keep progressing the series if they would want too! Thanks for the contest i lost the last one but im hoping to come back strong lol !!

How will you want Ezio’s story in Revelations to end?  He is betrayed in the end, but goes out in a blaze of glory… killing his main target before being overwhelmed.  I really hope it’s in a hailstorm of arrows like in Hero. Of course, if they really were going for a shocker it would be one of his sons who betrays him and joins the templars.

  • It’s impossible for us to see his death from his own point of view, genetic memory doesn’t work that way! 😉

But what I want to see is Ezio’s child, be it a son or daughter, watching Ezio die. I know it sound slightly morbid, but just think of it, taking control of a young child and watching your father fight to the death to protect you from the Templars. That would be great storytelling if the guys and gals at Montreal did it properly (which I’m sure they will).

Or it could simply be like Altair, we don’t find out what happens to him until the next game, as Revelations reveals Altair’s end; defending Masyaf against the Templars.

  • I know it isn’t possible but to me in order for him to really have a Future he would have to have a child. Being not the case if it was possible, somehow becomes deathly ill/on the edge of death or is about to die, but before he does, passes on his knowledge to someone close, then his children learn it and pass it on etc etc. I would think if he does die, I would want him to wake up in the future, die then and wake up in another future or perhaps shadows in the past. Like..Waking up from a dream only to realize you were still dreaming.

Correction…Waking up from a dream only to realize you were still dreaming then having to wake up from that.

  • Ezio dies while trying to rescue a little girl who was kidnapped but  it was a setup up to assassinate him and it worked.you see Ezio killed from the killers eyes and the camera zooms out and reveals the new character in the assassins creed series!.This time around you get to be an evil assassin :).

  • There is only one way Ezio should go and that’s a warrior’s death fighting the templars to the bitter end.  It would be him fighting hundreds of templars while trying to seek the answers he’s been looking for all this time. After his death we switch back to Desmond and we see him with Altair giving advice to Desmond in the future and with the final act getting close ….

to have a warriors death, fighting the Templars to the bitter end? Have
him naturally die of old age? Or would you want something in between?

Answer: He gets cornered to a side of a cliff on top of a giant mountain by tons of Templars. With amazing courage he leaps off the mountain, where then all the Templars believed he plunged to death. Luckily, he is hanging by a root that is jutting off the side of the mountain. He goes back and hangs up his daggers, and he begins to train other assassins and then slowly dies of old age.

I see him fighting a large group of Templars surviving & successfully ending the war between Assassins & Templars. They then show him a few years in the future now with two kids (Both boys or one boy & one girl.), where one is always eager to fight & other one is more passive. While he is training them & a group of his followers in preparation of a new threat. This new enemy then appears & he bravely fights them himself to protect his students & kids. He successfully defeats, turns to look to see if everyone is safe & than is shoot in the back by an arrow. Ends with his fate unknown until the next game.

I just want Altair to tell Ezio… “I am your father!”

Now to answer your question, it wouldn’t be an EPIC ending if he doesn’t die. Not of old age either, but fighting until the end!

He should die on a final adventure, as he accompanies his grandson on a mission, to whom his legacy passes on to. This should be preceded with a scene that takes place many years earlier as Ezio is entertaining his young grandson with tales of his adventures (with quite a bit of embellishment) as his daughter looks on with a smile and shakes her head.

  • Ezio gets stabbed by templars in a building. Then he takes out a support pillar making it collapse and kills everyone.

  • I would like to see Ezio enter the monastery in atonement for all of his sins and live a long, quiet life in meditation and prayer.
