I Am Alive recieves XBLA release date

After slipping in and out of the spotlight for years, Ubisoft’s post-apocalyptic action-adventure game I Am Alive finally has a release date. It is due to hit XBLA on March 7, 2012 as part of the Xbox LIVE Arcade House Party.

I Am Alive will follow the adventures of a survivor of a cataclysm, known only as the “Event,” as he searches for his wife and daughter through his hometown of Haventon. Players will navigate the ruined buildings and toxic ash while combating the remenants of society through brute force and intimidation.

The game was originally set to be a full retail release, but fell off the schedule numerous times before resurfacing as a downloadable title. I Am Alive will be available on March 7 for 1200 Microsoft Points. A release date for PSN has not yet been set.
