E3 2012: The Elder Scrolls Online Teaser

Zenimax released the new teaser for the anticipated online version of their popular franchise, The Elder Scrolls. Admittedly, the tease doesn’t show much but take a look for yourself. We get to see a Nord, an Elf, and someone that looks like they could be in the Dark Brotherhood or the Thieves’ Guild, and that’s about it. It’s one of those “blink and you’ll miss it” sort of teasers, which is kind of frustrating. The game is set to launch sometime next year and we don’t even get a brief gameplay trailer to accompany the cinematic teaser?

Complaints aside, I am looking forward to this game based on the reports of the gameplay itself. This teaser didn’t really whet my appetite, but it did tease, so I guess it’s successful in that regard. Oh well, I guess we’ll just have to wait for the Spike TV Video Game Awards for the next few seconds of that teaser.

The Elder Scrolls Online is set to release in 2013.

While not flashmobbing (can it still be called a flashmob if he’s by himself?) innocent civilians in the grocery store while wearing a Dracula Halloween costume that’s obviously too small for him, Thom is planning his next flashmob.
