Starz’ Spartacus Coming to Consoles in 2013

The last few years have seen a very strong trend of historical fiction television earning great success, both critically and commercially. Rome, The Tudors, The Borgias, Spartacus, and more, have sparked an interest in history that is very welcome. Yesterday, Ubisoft announced that Starz’ hit series Spartacus would be making its way to Xbox 360 and PlayStation 3 in early 2013 as a retail release fighter. Spartacus Legends will feature series heroes along with the ability to create your own god of the arena.

Starting in the ludus, you will work your way up to the arena in your quest to become a legend.

Liam McIntyre, the actor who replaced Andy Whitfield as Spartacus after his loss to cancer, has been heavily involved in playing early builds of the game and providing creative feedback during the development process.
