In the lead-up to Gamescom, and at Gamescom itself, trailers were being pumped out by the handful. Rather than put up a separate post for each trailer with a few sentences introducing it, I decided that this time, I’d just put all of the trailers up at once and save both me and you a shitload of time. Below, you will find trailers for Borderlands 2, Rayman Legends, Assassin’s Creed III, Assassin’s Creed III: Liberation, Star Trek, and Rocksmith. There are definitely more trailers from the past week or so that we’ve missed, but these are some of those more relevant to my interests, which is what I know best.
Alphabetically, for no other reason than the fact that it came to mind first:
Assassin’s Creed III – With this trailer, Ubisoft gives us a closer look at the naval battles that we will see in the upcoming installment of Desmond’s story:
Assassin’s Creed III: Liberation – Next to Rayman Origins (another Ubisoft title), I anticipate that Assassin’s Creed III: Liberation will be my favorite Vita title for quite a while:
Borderlands 2 – The vault hunters get called out by Pandora’s big-bad, Handsome Jack:
Rayman Legends – See Barbara, the newly announced playable character, in one of the only reasons I’m considering purchasing a Wii U:
Rocksmith – Not only can you learn guitar, now, but you can learn bass. Your six-string guitar can even be used to learn the bass parts:
Star Trek – Ah, Star Trek. Even if you’re just “average,” you’ll be fantastic (take my eventual review with a grain of fanboy salt):
