See what I did there? Last year, we got Skylanders, and it was good. The concept of being able to hotswap physical character models and have that reflected in-game made for a fascinating new dynamic. That, coupled with solid gameplay and good writing, allowed Skylanders to transcend from its original target audience (children who love collecting toys) and hit on an older audience as well. Next week, Skylanders Giants hits store shelves. Skylanders Giants brings with it 16 all-new characters (8 Giant Skylanders, which are twice the size of previous Skylanders) and another adventure against the evil Portal Master Kaos. Take a look at these new trailers and get a good idea of what you’re going to see next week.
