Rayman Legends has an interesting story indeed. It stars Rayman, of course, with Globox, and the Teensies. In this game Rayman and company get sucked into a painting they’ve been staring at. A crazy adventure ensues as they traverse the different worlds in each of the paintings.
Ubisoft has just announced that the Rayman Legends Online Challenges App is now free on Nintendo eShop. The full Rayman Legends game is set for release on September 3, 2013 for PlayStation 3, Xbox 360 and Nintendo Wii U. With the release of the complete game, players will no longer have any limitations on the Online Challenges mode. The demo includes:
- A crazy run through the Land of the Livid Dead
- A dizzying descent into the Neverending Pit
- A fast and frantic sprint through the Infinite Tower
- A synchronized adventure through Murfy’s Dungeon (This challenge is solely for the Wii U because it involves one player controlling Murfy on the touch screen and another player will be controlling one of the classic characters like Rayman)
There are cups that you earn by completing each of the challenges and levels. These cups can be used to increase your Awesomeness Level. The bigger the cup, the higher the Awesomeness Level goes. Depending on how awesome you are, you can unlock Daily and Weekly Extreme Challenges. Lums can also be collected and used to unlock exclusive characters in the game.
Like Rayman Origins, Rayman Legends is just as beautiful to look at. The same artists and developers who worked on Rayman Origins worked on Rayman Legends. The only difference is that Legends has managed to improve graphics.
