With Mario Kart 8 out and everyone having a great time it’s only a matter of time until we may see new items within the game. It seems via the rumor mill and the picture above is that we might get new DLC (Downloadable Content) for Mario Kart 8. I think this is exciting news if you ask me, which I may have put in 100+ hours already. Plus, after looking at the picture above and it being E3, how could I not at least cross my fingers?
If you remember not long ago we got the announcement about a new car DLC coming to Japan. (Which will most likely come to North America in the future.) Hopefully, today or tomorrow we’ll find out if this picture is real or just a really good Photoshop.
The”DLC” includes characters such as:
- Professor E. Gadd, from Luigi’s Mansion
- Birdo, from the Super Mario series
- Plessie, from Super Mario 3D World
- Diddy Kong, from the Donkey Kong Country
- Kamek, from the Super Mario series
For all we know this DLC if true could be released in the coming days, weeks or months. Until then keep your eyes on the site for when we can confirm that this DLC is real or not.
