STEINS;GATE coming to PS Vita and PS3 in Europe and North America in 2015

While I’m someone who owns the anime and has watched it I can’t help but get excited about this news? Who wouldn’t since the last time they heard there was a game for the anime it was local to Japan only. Of course there are many games we’ve loved to have brought to our area, but it all depends on if the company thinks it’s worth localizing to us and other regions. Personally, I think many companies shouldn’t turn down other regions in terms of any game that is only in one region.

What is STEINS;GATE about? I’m not talking about the game itself yet even though it’s going along with the anime series. I’ll just give a summary of what both game and anime about since I can’t say it better than what the recent press release states.

STEINS;GATE follows a rag-tag band of tech-savvy young students who discover the means of changing the past via text message, using a modified microwave. Their experiments into how far they can go with their discovery begin to spiral out of control as they become entangled in a conspiracy surrounding SERN, the organisation behind the Large Hadron Collider, and John Titor – a mysterious forum poster who claims to be from a dystopian future.

As you can clearly understand it’s a crazy yet awesome game about a person who figured out how to send text messages through time via a microwave. Trust me when I said if you’ve yet to watch the anime you can do so be heading to FUNimation or going to your local anime shop and grab it. Anyways, here is more information about the news that STEINS;GATE is coming to Europe and North America.

PQube are pleased to announce that MAGES., 5pb. and Science Adventure Team’s critically acclaimed STEINS;GATE will be coming to PlayStation 3 and PlayStation Vita systems in 2015, for both Europe and North America.

While the only information is that it’s coming in 2015 for PS Vita and PS3. As well as who it’s coming from you can damn well expect future news from me about this. You can check out a video below for the anime since I’ve had followers tell me they’ve never heard of the game or anime title.
