Today Ubisoft announced the newest entry into the Trackmania franchise. Trackmania Turbo will be released for the PlayStation 4, Xbox One and Windows PC on December 1, 2015 in North America. As opposed to more “realistic” racing games, TMturbo is what you would imagine a Hot Wheels game fantasy to be with F1 cars.
The game is extremely fast paced, where you set your own limits to crush old times on courses. Included will be a campaign mode which will include over 200 tracks in four different environments, which affect your racing style. Along with campaign, it appears there will be up to 4 player split screen multiplayer, shown in the trailer, however there has been no official confirmation on this and online multiplayer quite yet. New features include “Double Driver” mode, where two controllers must operate one vehicle, new systemic music features, as well as a track building mode to feed the creative appetite of your brain. Ubisoft has also made a statement that, at a later date, a VR supported version will be released.
