I’m just sitting here minding my business and typing away at setting up some E3 stuff for our writers going and out of no where an email from Komani comes in with the big bold letters… “KONAMI DIGITAL ENTERTAINMENT LAUNCHES FIRST Yu-Gi-Oh! TITLE FOR PLAYSTATION® 4 SYSTEM AND XBOX ONE “. What would you do seeing all the news of Komani going to “Mobile”, but then saying later they’ll still look into possible console things? Well this is one of those moments that caught me off-guard.
We all know you’re here to find out this news to some of you that may still play Yu-Gi-Oh! and played past versions on Xbox 360 and PS3. Now on to the news and hopefully the god cards don’t show up to destroy the world.
Komani is pleased to announce the game title Yu-Gi-Oh! Legacy of the Duelist, which will arrive early this summer to take fans on a journey through the most memorable parts of the Yu-Gi-Oh! TV series. Those owning the game can replay real events from the series timeline, from the original Yu-Gi-Oh! up to Yu-Gi-Oh! ZAXAL and including some of the newest generations of the TV series as DLC once that comes out. Full details can be found via the URL at the bottom of this article.
