Hi-Rez Studios announced today that the port of their popular MOBA title SMITE to the Xbox One is nearing the end of its closed beta. SMITE will be moving to open beta for all Xbox One users to play starting on July 8, 2015. The download can be initiated from the Xbox Games Store or by going to www.SmiteGame.com/Xbox. While the beta is opening, Hi-Rez wanted to reassure their closed beta participants that they will not lose progress during this transition. This includes account wipes of earned Gods, currency, achievements and more.
If you are still interested in joing the beta before July 8th, you can sign up for a code at www.SmiteGame.com/Xbox or by buying the SMITE Founder’s Pack. This pack is $29.99 on the Xbox Games Store, and includes beta access, every God (current and future) to play as, 400 gems and two exclusive God skins.
