Since 2009, there really hasn’t been any news for the Left 4 Dead series. Of course there were mentions of it in sales, or mods, but no real meaty details. That ended this week.
There have been a couple reports from this week regarding Left 4 Dead 3. The first came a couple days ago, that the game is being worked on this “information” came from the site Game Zone. Tonight however, another report released, and in it we got a possible release date. According to the report, the game is due in 2017 and will be for PlayStation 4, Xbox One and PC. The four heroes we will play as are only known as Katharine, gangster Irvin, comic book nerd Keenan and famous Kenpo fighter Garrett Jr. This goes with previous reports of six separate campaign missions.
We have no official confirmation by Valve, but a lot of sources are pointing to “Yes.” Could this possibly be the end of Valve’s lack of 3? I guess it’s….left 4 U to decide. We’ve reached out to Valve to see if we can get any information about this and will update if we hear back.
