Tom Clancy’s: The Division Open Beta

Tom Clancy’s: The Division Open Beta

On the tails of the closed beta, Ubisoft announced today that an Open Beta will take place for Tom Clancy’s: The Division for PlayStation 4, Xbox One, and PC gamers.

The Open Beta will be from February 19 until February 21 with the ability pre-load content beginning on February 16. Xbox One players will also have exclusive 24-hour early access beginning on February 18.

If you’ve been living under a rock, you may not have heard all your friends talking about this very anticipated game. If that’s the case, let me fill you in! The Division takes place weeks after a devastating pandemic sweeps through New York City on Black Friday (a predominately US “holiday” that takes place after the US Thanksgiving). As basic necessities such as food and water slowly run out, society collapses in chaos, as expected. This is where The Division – a dormant unit of agents – is activated to help save us. Your job? Team up with other players to find the source of the virus that caused it all, protect the people around you, and kick some ass!

If you were one of the lucky souls who played the Closed Beta, I’m happy to let you know that the Open Beta will include an all-new story mission. And to top it all off – those who participate in the Open Beta will receive a special reward which will unlock in-game when The Division releases on March 8.

In the meantime, feel free to check out the video below to learn a little more about Tom Clancy’s: The Division and its enemy factions.

On the outside, you might think Sam is rough and tough with her always-changing hair color and tattoos, but those closest to her will tell you she's actually a book worm, plant mom, avid backcountry hiker, and lover of all things Star Wars and video games!
