The Division Has A New “Loot Cave!”

The Division Has A New “Loot Cave!”

Who doesn’t love hours of grinding for good loot? I’ll admit, I haven’t gotten a chance to play Ubisoft’s newest success yet, but it is on the way to me in the mail. (Soon you will be mine, precious.) However, this does not mean I am not taking notes on how to “git gud” as the kids call it. Also, I spent many hours staring at a hole in Destiny, so I am not afraid to do a mundane task to get some good gear.

There is a new farming method that will reward you with some good gear as well as Phoenix Credits. Instead of a “cave,” we have a “loot king.” His name? Hutch. You will find him in the Madison Field Hospital mission on hard mode, in the final section that takes place on the rooftop. There are a few different packs that you will encounter.

Pack #1 = initial pack firing on the helicopter. Clearing this pack will cause Hutch to drop down once and engage you from above.

Pack #2 = 4 purple rushers coming out from the room on the right. Clearing this pack will cause Hutch to drop down again to your level.
Pack #2.5 = yellow machine gunner that spawns if you kill Hutch before he drops down to your level. And another purple rusher from the right room.
Pack #3 = 4  rioters spawning on the left. Always let them kill you here.
Your goal is to kill Hutch without having him jump down. Once he dies, his no name shadow will spawn. This is the body that will have the loot. Kill him, loot him, die, repeat, ???, profit.
It seems like this is fairly straight forward, with a few contingencies if you mess up. I will include a video on this topic down below, courtesy of Ghost Dog. Now that you have the information, get out there and loot!

Doug bashes his fists against the keyboard and eventually a piece of video is made, sometimes it is even funny. Some of his gaming accomplishments are: completing a living Pokedex on the Pokebank, 1000 pointing BCFX: Black College Football: The X-perience: the Doug Williams Edition, and only crying five times during the Kingdom Hearts series.
