The Division Player Reaches Max Rank In Dark Zone

130 hours. That is 5 days and 10 hours. It is also the same amount of time Redditor Chammer88 has put into The Division in the past 7 days. His hard work paid off though because  He is (unofficially) the first player to hit the maximum rank in the Dark Zone, which Is apparently 99. As seen in the picture above, the progress bar is almost full to 100, but according to Chammer, it is frozen there now.

The Dark Zone is the PvP area in The Division that allows players to get the best gear by making friends, or making corpses on the ground. Either or. This player mastered it with a circuit similar to the one shown that allowed him to get some of the best loot, the maximum rank, as well as over 14,500 kills. I can’t even begin to fathom spending that much time in a game in that short amount of time. But if that is your thing, he is the best right now. An interesting bit of information: when you die in the Dark Zone, you are penalized with an experience loss. The penalty at level 93? 85,000 experience.

What do you think? Is it worth it to be the first? Or did Chammer88 rush through a huge part of the game and missed the experience of it? (Get it? GET IT?) Let us know in the comments below!

Doug bashes his fists against the keyboard and eventually a piece of video is made, sometimes it is even funny. Some of his gaming accomplishments are: completing a living Pokedex on the Pokebank, 1000 pointing BCFX: Black College Football: The X-perience: the Doug Williams Edition, and only crying five times during the Kingdom Hearts series.
