McDROID Lands On Consoles

McDROID Lands On Consoles

A couple years ago, a cute little robot landed on Steam and won over a lot of hearts, 82% of the reviews to be more precise. Fast forward to current day, and now us console dwellers can experience the little guy ourselves.

McDROID released this past weekend (3/4/16) for the Xbox One and PlayStation 4. After a crash landing, you need to help our title character gather resources, and make it back home. To do this, you must use elements of both third person shooter and tower defense to protect yourself from the aliens that inhabit the planet. It is being brought to consoles with the help of Grip Digital s.r.o. Why might that name sound familiar? Well, they just launched their own title The Solus Project on the Xbox Preview Program. Both feature a fascinating color pallet. Just looking at McDROID makes me giddy because of the colors that the developers used. It is almost like a cell shaded watercolor explosion happened on your screen! It is downright gorgeous.

You can pick up McDROID and try it yourself today for $7.99 on the Xbox One and PlayStation 4.

Doug bashes his fists against the keyboard and eventually a piece of video is made, sometimes it is even funny. Some of his gaming accomplishments are: completing a living Pokedex on the Pokebank, 1000 pointing BCFX: Black College Football: The X-perience: the Doug Williams Edition, and only crying five times during the Kingdom Hearts series.
