Beyond Good and Evil Trademark Appears

One of the most beloved games of the PS2, Gamecube, Xbox era was Beyond Good and Evil. An adventure game with a ton of character, Beyond Good and Evil saw Jade defend her world from aliens with her pig-man friend Pey’j. Together, the duo went on an fantastic adventure fighting baddies with all sorts of tech and skill. Ubisoft has been teasing a sequel for many years, even going as far as making some teaser trailers. Rumors of this sequel come and go as the years go by and this time is no different.

However, its important to note with these things happen. So, it is our duty to report when news arrives. Therefore, here it is.

Now, I’m not one to get my hopes up. Solid evidence is lacking and there is no word from Ubisoft. However, the fact remains that the patent was filed. Either this is a way for Ubisoft to keep a hold of their rights to the characters and branding or it means a cat is almost out of the bag, or a pig rather.

I guess we’ll see. Hopefully the news will come as an awesome surprise as Square Enix have been doing recently with Final Fantasy XV. Until then, we’ll keep our eyes peeled.
