Developer and publisher of car soccer phenomenon (Rocket League) Psyonix teased that a basketball game type would be coming to Rocket League soon. Yesterday, they announced that next Tuesday, April 26th, we will be getting Rocket League Hoops, Car basketball, as a game mode. For free! The game type will also be coming with a new arena called “Dunk House” so you can live out your Kobe and Jordan dreams, you know, if they were cars. The update will be released for all versions of Rocket League. (PC, PS4, Xbox One)
In addition to the free arena and game mode, an officially licensed “NBA Flag Pack” will be released as paid DLC. All 30 teams’ logos will be added into the game for you to show off your b-ball skills. The Flag Pack will retail for $1.99 and gives players access to all 30 teams. Check out the trailer below and make sure you say Kobe before each shot. It adds to the finesse points.
