Kingdom Hearts Unchained X Coming Later This Week!

Don’t worry, you can take a deep breath. This news caught me off guard as well. Take it as an apology for my cruel April Fool’s joke from Friday. (If you missed it, lucky you. You can take a look here.) For North America, Nomura announced it will be coming out this Thursday. Public panic later ensued; People stopped going to work; Children were forgotten at school. Because the game of a lot of our childhoods is back, and this is just the start on our path to Kingdom Hearts III.

Kingdom Hearts Unchained X is a Free-to-Play mobile game with iOS and Android support. In an interview released today, Nomura states that this is the first game in the series, before even the Keyblade Wars in the world of fairy tales. The title will have multiplayer components, and will feature a different side of the story than Kingdom Hearts X Back Cover, which will be featured on II.8. In unchained, you are experiencing it as a keyblade wielder, as opposed to Back Cover which will get a peek behind the scenes.
