Stop what you’re doing, jump onto your Xbox One, go to the marketplace, find Sunset Overdrive, download. Enjoy one of the coolest launch titles from the Xbox One for free, assuming you have a valid Xbox Live Membership that is. Insomniac created a pretty unique open world action game that feels like Tony Hawk if the narrative was written by Tim Schafer. The city is being overrun by mutants created by a twisted energy drink for goodness sake! While it does show some of the blemishes of early console software, it is a fun, fast, and stylish game with some sweet weapons in the vein of Ratchet and Clank. Xbox is providing some solid games every month. Also available is Dead Space for the 360, which is downloadable on the Xbox One as well, plus Wolf Among Us by Telltale Games. Saints Row IV was also made available today for the Xbox 360. Each of these games are highlights over the past few years and it’s good to see Xbox pumping more life into them and keeping those on the last console in mind.
