A promotional image has just swept through the internet, starting with Reddit (where all the leaks happen apparently) and being reported on by Kotaku. This image seems to be a direct reveal of the next expansion to one of the most over-hyped games of all time, Destiny. Only the image has been shown so far, but its assumed that Rise of Iron will be shown off at this year’s E3. Bungie should also at the least discuss what their plans are for Destiny 2, during this mega press event. It’ll be cool to see where the brand goes, even though I’m not a fan, there’s a lot of potential. Now we just need the game the mythic science fiction opera deserves.

On another note, its strange that there is no word of a PC port. As most MMO games thrive on PC, I would assume that Destiny would do exceptionally well on the platform, especially if they heavily discount the vanilla game. With many MMO players already being on PC, the Destiny community could grow like other games have, which could lead to even better content from Bungie. Seems like a no-brainer to me.
