Hero Defense – Haunted Island Gets New Game Mode

Hero Defense – Haunted Island Gets New Game Mode

Developer Happy Tuesday released Hero Defense – Haunted Island earlier this year. (January 26, 2016 to be more precise.) The title has received very positive reviews on Steam since release (91% positive) and, while still in Early Access, has been steadily growing in content. The ever going content is about to get bigger (and spoooooooky) next week!

Hero Defense – Haunted Island is a conglomerate of RPG, MOBA and Tower Defense gameplays, allowing players to upgrade troops and send them in waves to defeat their enemies while defending their own base as well. Up to this point, players have only been able to embark on a journey to rise over Count Necrosis, the world’s most powerful vampire. Today Happy Tuesday announced the title will be receiving a free update that will bring in multiplayer and more next Week!

The update will be released on spooky Friday the 13th, and with it brings 1v1 PVP gameplay. Use strategy to advance across the map to raid your opponent to the ground! Arm your five heroes with skills and runes to overpower your enemy. Alongside the multiplayer game mode, there will be three new maps added to the rotation, with a total of eight planned for the full release later this Summer.

To top everything off, Happy tuesday will begin their first Multiplayer Season, an event that will allow players to face off head to head in ranked matches to claim the title of best warrior. Each week, a new season will be held to allow players to rise to the top and claim glory!
