Pokémon Sun and Moon Starters, Legendaries, and Release Date Revealed!

Earlier this year, Nintendo and Gamefreak teased us for the Pokemon 20th Anniversary by announcing Pokemon Sun and Moon. No information was announced, other than it was coming this Holiday season. The hype was almost too much to contain. Today, we were shown the Region, Starters, Legendaries, and the actual release date! Let’s immediately jump into the wonderful world of Pokemon Sun and Moon!

Sun and Moon will take place in the lovely Alola region, which appears to be based on, you guessed it, Turkministan! Kidding. Sorry, Turkministanians, your day will come soon enough in Pokemon. It seems to be based on Hawaii. Mahalo. We are given multiple glimpses into the lush world of Gen VII through the video that will be linked below.

Next, are the starters! We recently predicted what we would be seeing, and we were right! Ladies and Gentlemen, meet Rowlet the Grass/Flying owl, Litten the Fire cat, and Popplio the Water Seal! They are so adorable! No information was released as to what their evolutions will be, but that will come later!

Lastly, we are given a glimpse of the legendaries, who have no names quite yet. Sun’s legendary is a sun/fire based lion, and Moon is a celestial bat-type-creature. Look out for more information between now and the release date, which was announced to be November 18th, 2016 here in the states! So now the question is, which starters will you be picking, trainers?

Doug bashes his fists against the keyboard and eventually a piece of video is made, sometimes it is even funny. Some of his gaming accomplishments are: completing a living Pokedex on the Pokebank, 1000 pointing BCFX: Black College Football: The X-perience: the Doug Williams Edition, and only crying five times during the Kingdom Hearts series.
