A series that I love due to the sheer ridiculousness of it has to be the Dead Rising series. Who doesn’t love hitting zombies with a giant stuffed donkey while dressed up in pajamas? This past week, many leaks occurred which caused much speculation. Let’s clear some things up.
One of the rumors/claims was that Dead Rising 4 was going to be a remake but different: the original Dead Rising during Christmas. That, is wrong. We are going back to Willamette, Colorado. We are playing as super photographer Frank West. However, this will take place 16 years after the original outbreak. (Good on you Frank for lasting that long.)

New enemies will present a challenge to Frank. One of them being the Fresh. No, not Phresh, Fresh. One day maybe.. Newly zombified victims will turn in front of his eyes, gaining superior speed and ferocity. There are also what are called the Evos, zombies with super strength, with the behavioral instincts of predatory animals.
Combine weapons and vehicles to combat all of the new undead. Don’t worry, the game isn’t getting serious all of the sudden. You still get to kill zombies with a zombie catapult car, and what appears to be a tiny car that shocks surrounding enemies. Included in the new weapons is the new category: EXO Suits. These give users super strength, turning larger objects into weapons of undead destruction.

Also, there will be a new approach to multiplayer in Dead Rising 4. Play together with four friends, or join a quick match, to conquer the undead at Willamette Memorial Megaplex.
