I will come out and say it: “I love the Dead Rising series.” Is it the best? By no means. Is it realistic? By no means. So why do I love it? Who does not love dressing up as a disco dude and then killing a horde of of zombies with a gun strapped to every finger. Yeah, that’s what I thought. Dead Rising 3 came out in 2013 as a launch title for the Xbox One. While it wasn’t a phenomenal game, it was bloody fun. Since then, fans have been patiently waiting for the fourth title, and it looks like that time is now. Err.. next week.
The website thisgengaming.com has been posting about how Dead Rising 4 is currently in development by Capcom Vancouver. They have reported that the game will “make fans of the series happy.” Now we have images that are… interesting courtesy of a leak.
As you can see above, the poster reveals who is believed to be Mr. Frank West himself in what appears to be a mall. Twitter and Neogaf user ekim tweeted “leaked details” below. Are they true? Who knows, but interesting nonetheless.
Dead Rising 4 is a remake of DR1 during Christmas time. 4 player coop. Not only the mall but also the surroundings probably.

So a 4-player remake of one that adds to it and it is at Christmas time. I am not sure I buy that, but it is something to think about. If it is coming, it will be using the Unreal 4 engine, as opposed to the self developed one they have been using due to a deal with Epic.
Other than that, there is not much more to say about it. We will find more information out in the week through leaks, or at the Microsoft Press Conference next Monday. Are you guys excited?
