Top 5 Xbox One Games from the Ultimate Game Sale

Top 5 Xbox One Games from the Ultimate Game Sale

Now for my third game of choice would be Halo 5: Guardians, which you can read our review of over here. As you read we really enjoyed the game. Halo 5 continues from the events of Halo 4 in where Cortana is no more due to the events and ending of the game. Fast forward to Halo 5: Guardians and a mysterious and unstoppable force threatens the galaxy; the Master Chief is missing and his loyalty questioned. Yes, if you’ve yet to play the game you may be wondering what’s going on. Now you can find out for yourself as Halo 5: Guardians is discounted to the low price of $30.00 (normally $59.99). With the recent massive update to Halo 5 you’ll now have Warzone Firefight, which brings even more replay value to the game.

If you’ve yet to decide on a game, this is one you shouldn’t miss out on. It’s enjoyable to play with random users, in Forge mode, or with friends.

We’re so close to the fifth game of choice, but for now my fourth game of choice is Rise of the Tomb Raider. Our review by the one and only Robert Workman as well as a video review from Mike Robles can be checked out here. Do I really need to say why Lara Croft is one of my choices? I’ve always been a fan of the franchise and the latest game being part of the sale is always a good thing. What is Rise of the Tomb Raider about? The game features epic, high-octane action moments set in the most beautifully hostile environments on earth. Rise of the Tomb Raider delivers a cinematic survival action adventure where you will join Lara Croft on her first tomb raiding expedition. As you play you will learn how she came to be and more.

As with most of this article the price has also been the big point of why you should pick up the game. While Rise of the Tomb Raider is normally $49.99, you can pick up the basic version for just $29.99. But why stop there? The Rise of the Tomb Raider Deluxe Edition (which includes all the DLC and is normally $89.99) is on sale for $49.49. Personally, I’d be picking up the game with all the DLC since games like this will take quite some time to beat. While some of you may only want the base game, when it comes to some of these deals the + DLC seems to be your best value.

Now we’re to my fifth Xbox One game of choice. Yes, I know I didn’t go into Xbox 360 games, but you’ll be seeing that list of picks from one of our other staff. Anyway, my pick for game 5 is Diablo III: Reaper of Souls – Ultimate Evil Edition from Blizzard Entertainment. What is this game? This Ultimate Evil Edition contains both Diablo III and the Reaper of Souls expansion set, together in one definitive volume. Rise as one of humanity’s last defenders–crusader, barbarian, witch doctor, demon hunter, monk, or wizard–and collect legendary loot while mastering devastating new powers and abilities. Sounds great, right?

Normally this game on Xbox One is $59.99, but during this sale you can pick up Diablo III: Reaper of Souls – Ultimate Evil Edition for only $30.00. The discount might not seem large, but it is a great deal for a game that will take days to beat. Still to this day I come back for more since I own a retail copy of the game. Even after the game has been completed you’ll have so much more to do in terms of maxing out your character level, playing the game at harder difficulties or simply having a game to waste time on. Trust me when I say it’s a game you shouldn’t turn down.

This concludes my top five list of games you should check out during the Xbox Ultimate Game Sale for Xbox One. Do you already own some of these games? Sound off in the comments below on what you think about this list or what games you think are great purchases.
