The Witcher III Wild Hunt Game of the Year Edition Gets Release Date

In case you didn’t have enough of the Geralt of Rivia, The Witcher III: Wild Hunt is getting a Game of the Year edition. This is not new news. It will contain over 150 hours of open world content, where you will seek the child of prophecy in Wild Hunt, confront bandits in Hearts of Stone, and explore the region of Toussaint in Blood and Wine, all included. Once again, not new news. However, today we do have some new information, the release date.

After receiving 250 GOTY awards, it is no surprise The Witcher III is getting a full version. Its success is unprecedented. If you missed it the first time around, like me (I know, I know. Shame.) you now have a second chance. The Witcher III Wild Hunt Game of the Year Edition will be releasing this month. Yeah, surprise. To be more specific, it will release on PC, Xbox One, and PlayStation 4 on August 30th. To remind yourself why this is important, take a gander at the full trailer below.

Doug bashes his fists against the keyboard and eventually a piece of video is made, sometimes it is even funny. Some of his gaming accomplishments are: completing a living Pokedex on the Pokebank, 1000 pointing BCFX: Black College Football: The X-perience: the Doug Williams Edition, and only crying five times during the Kingdom Hearts series.
