Twitch and Bethesda to Host First eSports Event for The Elder Scrolls: Legends at PAX West

This weekend at PAX West, Twitch and Bethesda are teaming up to bring Bethesda’s new digital card game, The Elder Scrolls: Legends to the tournament circuit.

Top Twitch card players will compete against each other in the event, which will be streamed live for three hours per day for those unable to attend PAX West via the PAX Arena Twitch channel.

To watch the tournament live, head over to the PAX Arena, room 4A, at the following times:

  • Friday:  Noon – 3pm – Match against game creators from Dire Wolf Digital and Pete Hines of Bethesda Softworks
  • Saturday:  1 – 4pm – Pro-Am Showdown between attendees and Twitch streamers
  • Sunday:  Noon – 3pm
  • Monday:  Noon – 3pm – All four influencers will face off in a series of showcase matches.

There will also be freeplay areas available for attendees, as well as a sit-and-go tournaments and daily events for those who feel confident enough. Twitch swag, Bethesda games, and merch will be available to winners, and there is the potential to qualify for Open Tournament (Friday and Saturday) – attendees can qualify to play in the Finals on Sunday, with one to be declared the first PAX Champion of The Elder Scrolls: Legends‘ first eSports event.
