Rock Band 4 October DLC List Announced

With Rock Band Rivals releasing on October 18th, Harmonix wanted to celebrate early by announcing all tracks that will be coming this month! Rejoice! Well, that is if you don’t hate pop songs. If you do, I suggest taking your close minded body away from the next few paragraphs. Coming as a shocker to no one, most of the DLC will be the pre-order bonus DLC for Rock Band Rivals, but we are getting a few new ones that were not announced.

Up first, let’s take a look at this week’s (10/4/2016) DLC. Both of these tracks have been highly requested for quite some time. Also they are both tracks from the 90’s, so let’s take a look at the blasts from the past.

  • Jane’s Addiction – Stop
  • Harvey Danger – Flagpole Sitta

That’s right, right out of the gates, we are getting two tracks that were unannounced. Start the party with Flagpole Sitta, and keep the energy high with Stop! Both tracks seem like they will keep most instruments on their toes, especially the drummers. Represent!

After this week, we have the Rock Band Rivals Launch DLC Songs. These will be available later this month for $1.99 each, or with a “Rock Band Rivals” Launch Pack bundle for $15.99. In case you forgot, these 10 songs are:

  • Bring Me The Horizon –“Happy Song”
  • Capital Cities –“Safe and Sound”
  • Eagle-Eye Cherry –“Save Tonight
  • The Neighbourhood –“Sweater Weather”
  • Of Monsters And Men –“Little Talks”
  • Pharrell Williams –“Happy“
  • Semisonic –“Closing Time”
  • Sia –“Chandelier”
  • Skillet –“Feel Invincible”
  • Weezer –“King of the World”

Also available later this month is the Amazon-exclusive pre-order songs consisting of:

  • Maroon 5 – “One More Night”
  • Matchbox Twenty – “3am

The four new songs that have been announced are catchy songs that will be hits at parties, but could be disappointing to you hard rockers out there. They are all pop songs from the past couple years. They are:

  • Andy Grammer – “Honey, I’m Good.”
  • The Chainsmokers ft. Halsey – “Closer”
  • Shawn Mendes – “Treat You Better”
  • Sia ft. Sean Paul – “Cheap Thrills”

So are you skipping most of this month, or do you see some songs from the past you missed or maybe even some pop songs you can’t wait to drunkenly belt out. I know what group I fall in. (Spoiler alert: The last one)
