Overwatch Free to Play 11/18 to 11/21 on all Formats

Calling all Heroes and Heroes in training! Next weekend, gamers all around the world will have the opportunity to play Overwatch for free on select devices. Will this free weekend event suck you into the world of Overwatch or will it be a one shot attempt to silent the masses yelling in your ears?

Between November 18th and November 21st, gamers around the world can play Overwatch for free on either PC, PlayStation 4, or Xbox One. During the third weekend of November, all prospective agents can try out the twenty-two different heroes and thirteen maps in a variety of game modes.  Players can level up and earn loot boxes while playing in either quick play, custom games, or weekly brawl.

If you decide to purchase Overwatch after the free weekend, you will be able to keep all the progress that you made during the weekend as long as you use the same battle.net, Xbox Live, or Sony Entertainment account that you used to play. On November 18th at 11 a.m PT (18:00 UTC), players can download and play Overwatch for free.

If you are able to make it to level 25, you will be able to compete in ranked play and use your favorite heroes to help other agents taken down the enemy agents. What will be your favorite type of hero Tank, Support, Offense, and Defense? Personally, my favorite characters for each role are D.VA,  Zenyatta, Pharah, and Hanzo. If it had not been for one of the free to play weekends, I wouldn’t have played or purchased Overwatch. Because of the free to play weekend, i was able to experience the game without having to spend money on a game I may not like.

Overwatch’s free to play weekend can allow you to experience what so many gamers around the world have while allowing you to try something new before the game probably goes on sale on black friday.
