Xbox One Backward Compatible List Update 11/10/2016

This week is the anniversary of the Xbox One Backward Compatibility program. Over 100 titles were launched with the program last November, and over 170 have been added in the past year. Monday we saw Mass Effect 2 and Mass Effect 3 physical editions added to the program, but today Xbox is adding a highly requested title. Get ready to (kick) flip, boys and girls.

Skate 3 is the big title coming today. It is EA’s big skating simulator from 2014, and a highly requested title for the program. Honestly, go through previous weeks’ comments and you will see countless requests for the game, to the point of I believe it just became a comment meme. Let’s take a quick look at the titles.

  • Skate 3 – $11.99 ($9.99 for Gold) –  The SKATE™ franchise is back and rolling into new territory as SKATE™ 3 heads to the brand new city of Port Carverton. Delivering a unique co-op skateboarding experience, build your own customized skate team and change the face of the city by taking on unique team challenges, competing against rival crews online, and shredding the streets of an all-new skaters’ paradise. • Scarygirl – $9.99 – Scarygirl is a wondrous adventure through a beautifully-bizarre world based on the Scarygirl graphic novel created by acclaimed artist Nathan Jurevicius. Scarygirl, an abandoned girl, dressed like a pirate, with a tentacle arm, is sent on a quest to discover what happened to the Tree of Knowledge. Along the way, she’ll be aided by a giant octopus, a mystical kung-fu rabbit, and vendors who sell new attacks. She can also enter a shadowy version of the world to unleash truly wicked attacks.

So are you going to be buying Skate 3 to play now that it is on the One? Maybe you already had these titles and you’re excited to revisit? What else do you want to see added to the list? Let us know down below!

Some of his gaming accomplishments are: completing a living Pokedex on the Pokebank, 1000 pointing BCFX: Black College Football: The X-perience: the Doug Williams Edition, and only crying five times during the Kingdom Hearts series.
