NIS America announced earlier today, that the upcoming PlayStation 4 mystery adventure game, Danganronpa 1&2 Reload, would be making its way to North America and Europe in March of 2017.
A port of developer Spike Chunsoft’s PlayStation Vita titles, Danganronpa: Trigger Happy Havoc and Danganronpa 2: Goodbye Despair, Danganronpa 1&2 Reload brings two murder mysteries to console. Danganronpa: Trigger Happy Havoc takes players to Hope’s Peak Academy, where students find themselves trapped in a game of life or death, by a maniacal bear named Monokuma. Danganronpa 2: Goodbye Despair features an all-new cast, who find themselves in a similar situation, on Jabberwock Island.
NIS America will be releasing Danganronpa 1&2 Reload for the PlayStation 4 in North America on Mar. 14, 2017, while the European release will follow on Mar. 17, 2017. You can learn more about both games, by visiting the newly launched website.
An anime adaptation of Danganronpa is currently available in North America, from Funimation Entertainment, and the manga adaptation is available from Dark Horse Comics. The spin-off game, Danganronpa Another Episode: Ultra Despair Girls, has also been confirmed for release on the PlayStation 4, in the summer of 2017.
