In an announcement that is sure to make collector’s happy, action figure and collectibles maker NECA, today revealed that it has acquired the license for the upcoming sci-fi film, Blade Runner 2049.

The sequel to Blade Runner, the 1982 sci-fi classic starring Harrison Ford, Blade Runner 2049 takes place thirty years after the events of the first film. This time around, a new blade runner, LAPD Officer K, played by Ryan Gosling, discovers a long-buried secret that could send what is left of society into chaos. NECA has plans to release a full range of collectibles inspired by the upcoming film, including figures, die cast vehicles, replicas, games and more, in 2017.
