Pokemon Bank Update Releases Today

Now you can, in fact, catch 'em all again

Pokemon Bank Update Releases Today

Pokemon Sun and Moon released back in November, but there has been a key feature of recent handhelds missing. Pokebank was not initially launched with Pokemon Sun and Moon, but that changes today. Starting now, get your team back together, with an added incentive.

Of course this update is important because it allows any Pokemon caught in previous handheld games to be transferred into the new games.  However, there are added features that come bundled with this update. A Pokedex has been added into Pokemon Bank, allowing you to see infor about the Pokemon registered and connected to the Bank. Adventure Records have been added to track saved data figures and statistics. This could include how many Pokemon were encountered vs how many were caught. With every Pokemon deposited and the length of time they remain there, earn Poke Miles that you can exchange in game for items.

But wait, there’s more! Call me the Pokemon Researcher Bill-y Mayes because there is one more important addition with this update. If you access the Pokemon Bank from January 25th to October 2nd, you will receive a Mewnium Z. This Z-crystal can be given to the Mythical Mew to turn the move Psychic into Genesis Supernova, which looks rad. Be sure to get your own Mewnium Z before time is up!

Doug bashes his fists against the keyboard and eventually a piece of video is made, sometimes it is even funny. Some of his gaming accomplishments are: completing a living Pokedex on the Pokebank, 1000 pointing BCFX: Black College Football: The X-perience: the Doug Williams Edition, and only crying five times during the Kingdom Hearts series.
