Valentine’s Day has a slew of emotions attached to it, whether its the pressure of being alone or the pressure to impress your significant other among a whole slew of variants. The folks at Idea Factory want to make that day sweeter by bringing their RPG Fairy Fencer F: Advent Dark Force to Steam on February 14th. Players will be able to pursue three different story lines: the Goddess Story, the Vile God story, or the Evil Goddess story, with a major emphasis on player choice to get multiple endings. Fight in fierce battles with up to six party members at once with tons of customizable weapons. PS4 players have been enjoying this game since July and now PC players will get a taste of what it means to be a Fencer!

I’ll readily admit that I missed out on the PlayStation 4 release, although I did see the box and read through the back in a local store. It looks to be a solid looking RPG with tons of cool character designs, powerful looking weapons, and outrageous attacks. Truly the PS4 and Vita are killing it with all of these new RPGs coming to them, so its good to know that PC players won’t be left out. Ratings were mixed for Advent Dark Force by critics, but these sort of games definitely have a target audience, which often includes myself. Those who enjoy games like Hyper Dimension Neptunia will feel right at home, as the Fairy Fencer F series uses an altered version of the combat system.

Players looking for a solid RPG with plenty of player driven choices should check out Fair Fencer F: Advent Dark Force when it launches on Steam. PS4 players can already pick this up and begin the hunt for the powerful Fury weapons.
