Games with Gold for May 2017 Announced

Ladies and Gentleman, we are less than 2 months away from the biggest video game convention of the year.  This year’s E3 might be the biggest event in recent gaming history with Nintendo, Sony, and Microsoft planning to show what they have planned for the Nintendo Switch, PS4 Pro, and Project Scorpio. Microsoft looks to tide over its community with a special May themed Games with Gold offer that will make you one with the force.

Starting on May 1st, Xbox Live Gold members can participate in a month’s long Star Wars event that will span across Xbox platforms. At the start of May, Xbox One gold members can download Giana Sisters: Twisted Dreams – Director’s Cut ($14.99 ERP) for free. Following on the Twisted Sisters heels comes the Tomb Raider Lara Croft in Lara Croft and the Temple of Osiris ($19.99 ERP). Lara Croft and the Temple of Osiris will be free to download from May 16th to June 15th. Could a new Tomb Raider or Lara Croft title be announced at E3 2017?

Xbox 360 and Xbox One users will feel the force as Gold members can download two Star Wars titles throughout the month of May. Starting Monday, May 1st, Gold members can download Star Wars: The Force Unleased II ($19.99 ERP) for free until May 15. Following in its path comes Lego Star Wars: The Compete Saga ($19.99). Lego Star Wars: The Complete Saga will be free from May 16th to May 31st.

Will May the 4th be with you or will the Sith strike back on the revenge of the 5th? All titles are action packed and look to ignite the set of adventure within all Xbox Live Gold members. Gather your friends, because three of these titles are co-op experiences that will help you strengthen your squadron and your friendships.Do you think that this was a good selection by Microsoft for the May 2017 Games with Gold offer or should they look for a new hope? Prepare to feel the force before Star Wars Battlefront 2 is shown off at E3 2017.
