Giant Spider & Me: A Post-Apocalyptic Tale Acquired by Seven Seas

Seven Seas Entertainment kicked off another week of license announcements, as it revealed earlier today, the acquisition of the offbeat, fantastical slice-of-life series, Giant Spider & Me: A Post-Apocalyptic Tale.

The Giant Spider & Me: A Post-Apocalyptic Tale manga series is created by Kikori Morino. Its story revolves around a young girl named Nagi and her giant spider companion. The pair live in the mountains and despite being vastly different, they find a strange domestic bliss alongside one another, spending their days sharing tea and throwing picnics.

Seven Seas Entertainment will be releasing Giant Spider & Me: A Post-Apocalyptic Tale as single volume editions, beginning with the first volume ($12.99) on Feb. 20, 2017. The publisher stated that this strange series is something that fans of its other releases, The Ancient Magus’ Bride and The Girl from the Other Side, will likely enjoy.

The publisher is expected to make more manga license announcements throughout this week.
