For the third day in a row, manga publisher Seven Seas Entertainment has unveiled a new acquisition, with the announcement today, Ultra Kaiju Anthropomorphic Project, offering a new monster girl twist on the kaiju of the Ultraman series.

From Shun Kazakami, and featuring character designs by POP, Ultra Kaiju Anthropomorphic Project (original Japanese title: Ultra Kaiju Anthropomorphic Project feat. POP Comic Code) is a gag manga that reimagines the monstrous kaiju of the classic Ultraman franchise, as cute high school monster girls. The series sees the monster girl versions of the kaiju, squaring off against evil aliens that have arrived on Earth, seeking the destruction of the planet.

Seven Seas will be releasing the series as single volume editions, with the first volume ($12.99) of Ultra Kaiju Anthropomorphic Project expected to be available on Feb. 20, 2018. If you are interested in learning more about Ultraman, a modern version of the classic series is also published in North America by Viz Media.

Also, announced by Seven Seas Entertainment this week, the acquisition of Giant Spider & Me: A Post-Apocalyptic Tale and Fauna and the Dragonewt’s Seven Kingdoms.
