Ys VIII: Lacrimosa of DANA Gets September 2017 Release Date

Video game publisher NIS America announced today, that the next chapter in the Ys series of games, Ys VIII: Lacrimosa of DANA, would be making its way to the PlayStation 4 and Vita and PC, this September.

The latest game in Nihon Falcom’s iconic Action RPG series, Ys VIII: Lacrimosa of DANA sees red-headed series protagonist, Adol Christin, awakening on a cursed island, shipwrecked and stranded. To survive, Adol and the other shipwrecked passengers he rescues form a village, as Adol tries to unravel the mysteries of the cursed island and Dana, the blue-haired maiden living in an unknown world, that he has begun to dream about.

Ys VIII: Lacrimosa of DANA will be released by NIS America, physically and digitally for the PlayStation 4 and Vita and digitally for PC, via Steam, in North America on Sept. 12, 2017. The European release will follow on Sept. 15th. The game will include dual audio (English and Japanese), as well as English and French in-game text options.
