Ghost Games and EA have officially released screenshots and a trailer of their next entry into the Need for Speed franchise. The new game will be titled Need For Speed Payback and will be coming to retailers on November 10th.

Payback is set in the seedy underworld of Fortune Valley; where players will have the opportunity to play as three unique drivers: Tyler the racer, Mac the showman, and Jess the wheelman. Their goal is to earn enough credibility in the underworld to take down the nefarious House, a long-standing cartel that controls the city. Need for Speed Payback will also feature a deep level of customization, where players can spend hours customizing their rides, or fine tune derelict cars and turn them into the ultimate driving machines.

Those who pre-order the game will be upgraded to the platinum edition, which includes:

  • Nissan 350Z 2008
  • Chevrolet Camaro SS 1967
  • Ford F-150 Raptor 2016
  • Volkswagen Golf GTI Clubsport 2016

The Deluxe Edition allows access to the game a full three days early, along with exclusive customization items such as the Deluxe Edition license plate and NOS color, in-game discounts, Rep bonuses, everything the Platinum Car Pack has to offer, and more.

“Need for Speed returns this year to challenge what players expect from racing games. We’re still delivering everything our fans love about the franchise – the deepest customization, an impressive roster of cars, intense races and open world pursuits – but with Need for Speed Payback, we’re bringing together all those elements in an all new blockbuster driving experience. From the story, to the different characters you can drive as, to the varied missions, to the edge-of-your-seat moments.” -Marcus Nilsson, Executive Producer

The game looks promising for racing fans and gamers who want to customize their experience with the racing genre. After watching the trailer seems to have plenty of action and cars to ogle at. Need for Speed Payback releases for PC, PS4, and Xbox One on November 10th. Players who upgrade to the Deluxe Edition of the game will have access on November 7th.
